Chonnom Goji Jip – A 5/5 Dining Experience!

Today, Ruby, James, and I were privileged to be invited by Belmont Hotel’s HR Sales Director, Miss Arabella, to a hidden gem in Maribago called Chonnom Goji Jip, a Korean restaurant that truly impressed me.

From the moment we arrived, we felt the warm hospitality of the owner, who even dined with us. The food came out quickly, and the servings were generous and overflowing.

We indulged in premium samgyeopsal, both plain and beautifully marinated. Every bite was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were unlimited, fresh, and addictive. We honestly couldn’t stop eating!

The highlight for me was the bokeumbap (fried rice), cooked tableside with love and bursting with flavor. Hands down, the best fried rice I’ve ever had in Cebu.

The restaurant has a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you feel like you’re dining in Korea. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. For those who enjoy drinks, they also serve soju, the perfect pair with samgyeopsal.

Here are some snaps of the mouthwatering dishes and the aftermath of our feast, proof of how much we enjoyed.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
