A Hidden Gem in Banilad Town Centre, Cebu City

Cebu City is truly rich in food culture, with international restaurants popping up in every corner. In Banilad Town Centre alone, you’ll find plenty of options, but one that really caught my attention was Kushi Izakaya.

The moment I saw its exterior, I was drawn in. The ceiling was beautifully filled with Japanese lanterns, casting a warm glow, while the walls were decorated with nostalgic 80s-inspired photos that added character to the place. It immediately set the tone for an authentic and memorable dining experience.

What impressed me further was their high-tech ordering system. After being handed a QR code, I simply scanned it and ordered online, set menu, which included ramen and gyoza.

The service was smooth and didn’t take long at all. When my food arrived, I was not disappointed in the slightest. The ramen was absolutely fantastic, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The gyoza was equally delicious, with just the right crisp on the outside and juicy filling inside.

For the quality, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for ramen lovers like me. Overall, I’d give Kushi Izakaya a solid 5 out of 5 stars.
