Little Kyoto

A Taste of Japan Without Leaving the Philippines

One of the greatest blessings of being a tour guide is meeting wonderful people from around the world: Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Turkey, Sweden, Germany, the USA… and the list goes on. Every city tour becomes a cultural exchange, and I’m always excited to share hidden gems in Cebu with my guests. One of my newest favorite additions? Little Kyoto Cebu

A Piece of Japan in the Heart of Cebu

Nestled in the cool, mountainous area of Barangay Babag II, Cebu City, just a short drive from the famous Temple of Leah, you’ll find Little Kyoto, a charming, Japanese-inspired destination that brings the essence of Kyoto right to the Queen City of the South.

This place is ideal for guests who’ve always dreamed of visiting Japan but haven’t made the trip yet. It offers a beautiful glimpse into Japanese culture and aesthetics without having to leave Cebu.

What to Expect
✔️ Instagrammable Photo Spots – From quaint torii gates to traditional lanterns, bamboo paths, pagodas, and even a small Buddha statue, every corner is photo-worthy.
✔️ Japanese Garden Vibes – Relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.
✔️ Authentic Japanese Food – Warm up with flavorful ramen, takoyaki, and other well-loved Japanese comfort dishes at their food stalls.
✔️ Souvenir Shops – Take home a piece of Japan with their unique Japanese trinkets and goodies.

And if you’re doing a city tour, pairing Temple of Leah (with its Grecian architecture) and Little Kyoto (with its Japanese ambiance) gives you a wonderfully unique cultural fusion, right here in Cebu!
